Our story

genna is an alternative pop dark band currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Our original music is based on highly crafted soundscapes, powerful rhythms and deep bass, accompanied by guitars and keyboards with specific patterns, to create a unique and magical atmosphere. The lyrics of the songs have a particular view of the reality of human societies. Our influences are based on bands like The Cure, Sigur Ros, NIN, Coldplay, and important soloist like Peter Gabriel and Roger Waters. Genna is a dark pop band with futuristic overtones without losing the essence of the 80s.
